Job Vacancies
Senior Quantity Surveyor

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of quantity surveying experience, preferably in structural steelwork, metalwork, or aluminum construction projects.
  • Experience in NEC 4 contracts is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of sustainable construction practices and cost management techniques.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to managing budgets and timelines.
  • Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., cost estimating, project management).
  • Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS, HKIS) is an advantage.
  • Effective communication skills in Chinese and Mandarin; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Quantity Surveyor position.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities with consideration of sustainable construction practices.
  • Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management for structural steelwork, steel & metal work, and aluminum construction projects.
  • Support compliance with NEC contractual requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to ensure project viability and alignment with sustainability goals.
  • Participate in procurement activities, including sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers to optimize cost and quality.
  • Monitor project progress, track variations, and help ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Collaborate with project teams and report cost-related matters to senior management.
  • Provide guidance and support to quantity surveyors based in the Foshan, Guangdong office as needed.
