This project was atop V City in Tuen Mun and it was next to Tuen Mun MTR station, in where we were responsible for the metal works and aluminium claddings.

Part of the difficulties of this project was the high requirement of our clients, and some parts had to be amended according to the requests of architects. Although there were only a few blocks in this site, yet there were a lot of floors, so we had to install aluminium claddings to around 10 parts of the building, at the same time increasing the cost for cleaning.

Despite the long construction period of this site, we had sufficient time to handle the building plans and designs. With the high number of stories, lack of labour and a tight schedule, we faced a lot of difficulties while embedment. In addition, there were around 20 amendments of the building plans. This project was challenging during phase 1, and we had more to consider during phase 2, including hoarding. When we were handling the residential projects of the buildings, we had to follow strict guidelines and procedures, therefore we faced some difficulties when dealing with deadlines and division of labour. We had to rely on our experiences and relevant knowledge to solve all the operational problems.
