Founder (Mr. Chan Moon Chiu)
Jumbo Orient was established on 9 December 1996. Since then, our founder Mr. Chan Moon Chiu has dedicated all his effort to it and built it on a small company at Kweilin Street in Sham Shui Po with 10 employees, to the well-developed enterprise which has grown into a large-scale company with 13 different sections and more than 200 employees.
From the beginning, Mr. Chan has always agreed that the key to success is effective communication, no matter for internal colleagues, external technicians, subcontractors or suppliers, mutual benefits can only be achieved through the exchange of knowledge and experience of all parties. Furthermore, if work-related problems arise, we get together and come up with a solution. In addition, harmonious co-operation relationships are also essential for business success. Mr. Chan believes that by maintaining good relationships with developers, contractors and suppliers, as well as getting material support from mainland factories, we can certainly make our way in the industry.
As the company grew, specialized sections were set up. By evaluating each member of staff’s working performance, Mr. Chan and our management staff would allocate work to staff according to their strengths and preferences. We believe that only when everyone is playing their part can the company run smoothly. Mr. Chan has always been highly dedicated to every task. During his tenure, in addition to continuously expanding the company's core business, he has also frequently promoted diversified development, constantly improving work standards in work safety, health, environmental protection, and quality service. This has enabled employees to work in a brilliant professional manner, leading the company to explore new businesses.

Managing Director (Mr. Chan Yiu Hang, Danny)
Mr. Danny Chan is the Managing Director of Jumbo Orient, the second-generation successor. He joined Jumbo Orient in July 2006, has inherited the true essence of Mr. Chan Moon Chiu’s teachings. Danny graduated with his bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction project management, and civil engineering, master’s degree in business administration, and construction project management. He has nearly 20 years of extensive experience in construction project management, possessing profound architectural knowledge and background. He is familiar with project planning, cost control, resource utilization, and risk management, and has led numerous large-scale projects. A recognized director with the ability to manage cross-functional teams during the project development cycle and capable of building robust relationships with stakeholders and sub-contractors.
Danny is very focused on the company's business development and advocates for a safety culture, corporate innovation, professionalisation, integrity management, and environmental, social, and governance. He values every employee that all is the company's most important asset. He sets and implements of "Create a Safety Environment First, then Carry Out the Project", pledges to exceed regulatory requirements and collaborate with all stakeholders to build a safe and healthy working environment.
In the development of the construction industry, Danny plays an important role in the construction fields, has spared no effort, actively promoting the continuous professional heritage and innovative breakthroughs of the local construction industry for many years. Danny is currently the Vice President of the 6th Committee of The Hong Kong Registered Contractors Association (HKRCA) and the President of the 1st Committee of The Hong Kong Metal Engineering Contracting Association (HKMECA). Since 2022, he has been invited to be a Fellow Member of The Hong Kong Institute of Steel Construction (HKISC), and as a Visiting Professor of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) in 2023, as well as a member of the Management Committee of the Construction Industry Council (CIC) – Construction Industry Innovation and Technology Application Centre (CITAC). Furthermore, in 2024, Danny becomes a Committee of Technical Committee on the Code of Practice for the Structural Use of Steel for Buildings Department (BD), and he accepts the appointment as an Assessor of Certification Scheme for Approved Employers for Construction Industry Council Approved Technical Talents Training Programmes (CICATP).
Danny is committed to the development of social affairs that he founded the Jumbo Orient Charity Foundation (JOCF) in 2021 and served as its Chairman. Since 2025, he was recommended to become the 1st Chairman of The Caring Ambassadors in Construction (CAC). Danny contributes to participates in various public welfare, charity and caring activities to actively give back to the community. Danny motivates Jumbo Orient to be able to shine even brighter, continue to develop steadily, and create a more advanced and diversified environmental culture toward construction industry and society.
